Akaata’s home base has always been Shanghai, and until recently all our public activities have been in our beautiful Shanghai bubble.
We have our visionary eyes set on infusing Akaata culture into every fabric of society across the globe (baby steps of course).
So, for the first time ever we ventured into neighboring territory, Shenzhen!!!
Thanks to the organisers of the Afro Brunch Party in Shenzhen we had the honour of being part of this stunning day under the Shenzhen sun.

The initiative was created to give entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their goods and services to a new and diverse audience.
The atmosphere was beautifully curated, at this stunning venue, Sigma, add to that compelling mixes from DJ JackdeJoe & DJ GetOnBoard, great food and beautiful people, and you have yourself the perfect recipe for success.

The Akaata stand was very well received with many keen on learning about our origins, trying on display items, placing in online orders, purchasing and then proudly strutting their Akaata regalia.

We even had a mini photo shoot session, and how could we not, as the backdrop seemed to have been created especially for us!

We truly had a wonderful experience outside of Shanghai borders, and we look forward to more just like this in seasons to come.
A job well done to the crew and organisers of “Afro Brunch Party” , thank you for having us be part of such a market expanding, and fun experience.
